Materials Research & Design, Inc. (MR&D) was incorporated in February 1996 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. MR&D was founded by Dr. Brian Sullivan and Kent Buesking to provide research, analysis and design services to the advanced materials community, especially in the areas of composite materials for the aerospace industry. Our work encompasses all types of composites, including ceramic matrix, carbon-carbon, organic matrix, and metal matrix materials.
MR&D's clients include the United States Department of Defense, NASA, aerospace primes, preform fabricators, material suppliers, and testing laboratories.
