MaterialsCare is a spin-off type company that was formed under the Faculty of Material Science and Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology (FMSE WUT).
The target customers of MaterialsCare in its first stage of development (3D printing of implants) are veterinary clinics. In the future MaterialsCare hopes to reach public hospitals and private clinics. The main field of used applies consists of metallic, polymer, and hybrid implants.
Medical industry is not the only area of activity of the company. Experience in 3D printing in metal allows for the development of material data for metallic 3D printer, offering printing of metallic elements on request and numerous solutions for the post-treatment of manufactured components.
MaterialsCare also offers carrying out professional materials expertises and numerous examinations , including microscopic analysis (SEM, FIB, TEM, AFM, light microscopy, confocal microscopy), thermal analysis (DMA, DSC, TGA), computer tomography and cell analysis.
