Maternal Fortify

Maternal Fortify is a non-governmental organisation that is focused on empowering women and youths in Nigeria. We are a team of passionate information scientists, medical doctors, food and nutrition experts, vocational training experts, and community health workers that are driven by commitment to improve the information literacy of women and youths especially in hard-to-reach areas of Nigeria. We provide UpToDate, relevant, and detailed information on identified areas of information needs of women and youths in Nigeria leveraging on evidence-based researches and digital technologies. We are fortifying communities by: - ensuring that community health workers, medical doctors, and librarians that interface directly with women in rural areas are enlightened and informed about the health information needs of women and youths in rural areas of Nigeria. - We also roll out digital literacy and vocational training programs for women and youths in rural communities.
