Math Project aims to cultivate all its students into confident leaders of their communities. This unique program is designed specifically to empower students with mathematical knowledge, skills and determination to become top-performers and equip them with the confidence and resources to compete at national and international contests. As such, Math Projects strives for excellence and expects nothing less from its students. Established in 2010, Math Project’s pedagogical approach has been rigorous yet rewarding. The qualified teachers offer a friendly yet disciplined environment where students are encouraged to study in a self-motivated manner. Math Project uses proven and unique curriculum that enriches a student’s understanding of core math concepts. The teachers are trained to tailor lessons to match a certain student’s learning style. Here at Math Project, the teachers work in partnership with the parents to ensure that the students receive full support during sessions and at home. Research has proven that learning mathematics through problem resolution activities is the most efficient way for a person to develop lasting mathematical skills and one of the best ways to prepare students to meet the challenges of the future. With this in mind, our curriculum is designed to challenge and promote problem solving skills of all students at a young age. We also promote cooperative learning at Math Project. By presenting mathematics at an appropriately complex and thought-provoking level, students naturally want to analyze their work and discuss ideas with one another. New understandings emerge and new ideas are generated more effectively.
