Mathers Associates is an investment partnership that aims for principal protection and sensible appreciation. We provide a unique blend of private and public equity investments, and seek out investment opportunities that yield high returns with low risk. We are highly diversified and believe that diversifying across a wide range of asset choices best reduces investment volatility. We focus on growth at a reasonable price (GARP) and have a disciplined long term investment horizon. We don’t invest to make short-term profits but invest in companies for what we believe they will become. Our investment approach continues to produce excellent after tax returns for our limited partners. Managing Partner Elliot Zeelander is ultimately responsible for all investment decisions. Elliot brings over 25 years of investment management experience, which allows Mathers to adapt to changing market and world conditions. Deputy Jack Bellopede has more than 20 years of investment operations experience. He oversees daily operations, assists' in investment analysis and evaluates private investments. Aline Saghatelian is our newest member. As Manager, she is bringing her vast background in the financial world and helping to streamline the organization. Mathers Associates works with our individual investors to understand their needs and goals. This allows us to become more than just managers of their families’ wealth.
