Mathematics Society of Universiti Sains Malaysia (MATHSOC)

MATHSOC is also known as the Mathematics Society which is a student society under the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Science, Malaysia (USM). MATHSOC name was established in 2015 in USM. The society is open to all undergraduates and all students at the School of Mathematical Sciences are automatically enrolled as a member of MATHSOC. Now, the members of MATHSOC are mainly from Pure Mathematics, Applied Statistics, and Mathematics & Economy (M&E). The objectives of MathSoc are: - To enhance and improve the skills and collaborative experiences among Mathematics students. - To create a platform for Mathematics students to informally expand their academic knowledge. - To become a society or an association that can hold many events and activities that not only benefit Mathematics students but also students from other schools and communities. - To enable Mathematics students to acquire personal and professional skills in the field of leadership development. - To create opportunities for connecting Mathematics students and help them acclimate to their university life. - To initial and train the social responsibilities of Mathematics students.
