Māti Farms

Mati Farms is a food processing company with a vision to make the locally grown vegetables more profitable for smallholder farmers through sustainable value addition of the perishables while also bringing into market healthier snacking options for the consumers. The core idea is to bring in as many farmers under the umbrella of profitable vegetable farming, without compromising the local ecology and environment. Since our inception, we have been consistently growing and solidifying our farmer network steadily and systematically through supply of inputs, technical assistance and buyback assurance to the farmers, as it is crucial not only towards building a streamlined backend operation but also towards the larger impact we wish to create in the farming ecosystem as well as community. Currently we are growing bio fortified sweet potatoes (purple & orange), heirloom tomatoes and chillies in different parts of Odisha and are hoping to launch a few processed products over next few months which we are developing using innovative technologies that are better suited to meet the need for a healthier eating habit.
