Matrix Neurological

Matrix Neurological is a charity based in Middlesbrough which provides practical help and support for children, young people and their families who are living with the effects of an acquired brain injury. We have first-hand experience of child brain injury and the complex ongoing effects that influence everyday life. Through personal experience and observation we know and understand: - what happens following and acquired brain injury and - how hard it is for children and young people to adjust back into ‘normal’ life again without the right support; - the impact an acquired brain injury has on parents, siblings and the family unit as a whole; as well as the negative health effects that arise as a result of ineffective, disjointed and uncoordinated community support services. Our ambition is to provide services; not only at the right, time, place and location for our clients; but also at the right frequency that will make a ‘real’ difference to individuals.
