He spent his time in school mastering the English language, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Dixie State University, and is a member of Sigma Tau Delta. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Genre Fiction with a 4.0 GPA from one of the best creative writing graduate programs in the United States at Western Colorado University
