Web-based platform making it easier for people over 60 to find and access group exercise classes. Sedentary living is the primary cause of chronic health conditions and we want to break down the barriers to accessing high-level and enjoyable exercise. We also recognise that there are so many fantastic classes available for older adults run by small and medium size organisation's that might not have the necessary marketing budget to attract attendees. We match users based on their physical requirements and location to the most appropriate providers. As a unique and one of a kind age-tech start-up we aim to revolutionise the fitness industry by enabling easy access to exercise for the most underserved market in the world. Physical inactivity is the primary cause of most chronic diseases and 60% of people over 60 have 1 or more chronic health conditions which leads to loss of physical independence and 1 in 6 deaths. Additionally, £0.9billion of the NHS budget is spent on managing chronic health per year. We wanted to find out WHY older adults were not participating in regular exercise, so through our target customer interviews we identified 3 main barriers to exercise: 1.
