Maven is a young Dutch publishing house that specializes in narrative non-fiction in the area of human behavior. Every year we select the most fascinating insights and topics in this scientific field, and we have made it our mission to spread the newly gained knowledge. Our motto: Dit zouden meer mensen moeten weten ('More people should know this'). We publish around 10 books (also available as e-books) a year, which allows for a strong focus on marketing.
Some of our recent Dutch titles are 'DRIVE' by Mark Tuitert, 'Mindgym' and 'Superkrachten voor je hoofd' by Wouter de Jong and 'De geluksroute' by Anne de Jong. Translations include '4000 weken' (original title: '4000 weeks) by Oliver Burkeman, 'Loonshots' by Safi Bahcall and 'De Big Data-revolutie' ('Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work and Think') by Viktor Mayer-Schönberger and Kenneth Cukier.
