The Maverick Investment Program was established in 2001 when Colonel Guy M. Cloud donated $250,000 to establish the Maverick Investment Program. The goal of the fund was to give UNO students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in managing a portfolio of equity investments.
Today, the student-managed fund has grown to roughly $1.4 million dollars and continues to climb thanks to members’ investment decisions and additional donations over the years.
