Maverix Entertainment (ME) Ltd was officially established in 2017 but has been building its foundation (since 2012) long before its institution. The company’s headquarters is located in Lagos. ME is poised with a mission to promote and give unfound musical performers a chance to showcase their musical talents to a greater audience who would love to listen to them and in-turn foster their careers. Our vision is to extend this mission to the entire world. We look for local talents across the streets of countries in Africa. Our purpose is to be the bridge between local musical artistes with amazing talents and the large audience out there that hasn’t heard them. At ME, because we do the streets, we get across every street corner, every street show/jam, every school we can reach, and everybody who shows street credibility in their locality. Our job is in three words: seek and recruit! We do not rest until we find the best, we mean the very best musical (song/rap/reggae/cultural/comedy) performers, and guess what? We even invite other talented folks like dancers and instrumentalists to feature; in this way and manner, we empower the youth (and everyone else). You must agree with us that the best musical artists in Nigeria today came from the same neighbourhoods just around the corner. Now we are doing the hard work by getting our hands dirty finding these talents, just because we enjoy doing so. ME fulfils its promise to the musical industry and entertainment as a whole by taking its artists to perform for virtually free right now at street shows, event centres, celebrations, clubs, restaurants, bars and lounges, infact – just about anywhere you want us to put on a show.
