Maverx is a non profit, private foundation promoting technological innovation and entrepreneurial culture within the med-tech district of Mirandola, Italy’s Medical Valley. We are dedicated to maintaining and advancing the legacy of Mario Veronesi, considered a ‘maverick’ of his time, by sharing his vision and entrepreneurial approach to help contemporary ‘mavericks’ grow both locally and internationally. Maverx promotes innovation, research, development, training and scientific dissemination of medical technologies improving people’s health and life. Maverx implements new forms of collaboration with local and international organisations, encourages the exchange of ideas, and creates opportunities for establishing innovative ventures within healthcare.
