Max Power Limited was incorporated in Bangladesh as a private company limited by shares under Companies Act, 1994 vide Registration No. C-87045/2010 dated 19 September 2010, having authorized capital of Tk. 1,000 million. The Company signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) for the supply of 78.5 MW electricity on rental basis for a period of 03 (three) years, which had expired on May 2014. After successful first phase operation of 3 years contract period, BPDB has renewed the contract for further 05 (five) years vide a contract dated 19 June 2014.
