We are skilled in the manufacture and fabrication of high quality steel equipment.
We specialize in the custom design and fabrication of one off large pieces and also the fabrication of multiple complex items, such as pressure vessels, power station equipment, and mining industry equipment.
Maxcon Industries has been a leader in the field since 1970, and continues to pioneer the industry with its multiple accreditation's,Quality Assurance ISO 9001 ASME and certified OH&S Management System to name but a few.
We employ more than 80 full-time staff, and have a long standing heavy commitment to apprenticeships and training.
Staff include professional engineers, draftsmen, boilermakers, fitters and turners, painters and other trades, which enable the company to provide a comprehensive manufacturing, coating, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance service.
Maxcon Industries is situated on a 10 hectare workshop lay-down and design complex near Ipswich, Brisbane.
The factory complex has a floor area of approximately three thousand square metres. The main workshop is 20 metres wide, 110 metres long and 12 metres high. Three overhead cranes are installed with over 7 metres to the hook. Large mobile cranes can augment the fixed cranage with 30 Ton yard crane if necessary.
An additional facility houses the machine shop in which the company manufactures ninety percent of all its machining requirements.
