Maxotopia Foundation

The name Maxotopia is derived from two words - maximum and utopia. While the concept of utopia is idealistic and hypothetical, we believe it is possible to attain a maximum level of utopia wherein individuals and communities could have the best quality of lives. In order to attain such a level of maximum utopia, it is necessary to foster trust and transparency between the citizens and the government and create a participatory ecosystem that could facilitate communication and collaboration among citizens, civil society and the government. We do this by adopting a multi-pronged approach and engaging with multiple stakeholders including the citizens, governments, civic officials, nonprofits and civil society organisations. Our objectives are 1. To foster trust, transparency communication and collaboration between the citizens and the government 2. Driving civic participation among the citizens by providing tools, knowledge and resources 3. To empower local elected representatives, civic officials and local governments for better citizen engagement, service delivery and policymaking
