Max's Trust

Max's Trust is a non-profit organisation seeking to realise the following goals and services: o Awareness – Babies are born into an aware community that understands the nature of Imperforate Anus (IA) / Anorectal Malformation (ARM) issues and the need for human support for each child. o Information – Access is available to comprehensive, approved resources, relevant to all people affected by IA/ARM and the nature of the condition. o Medical – A network of renowned surgical and clinical care providers from a well-coordinated set of medical practitioners and mental health specialists. From family doctors (GPs) through to highly trained specialists, with programs in place for the transition from paediatric to adult care. o Support – Mental health support for adults, children, parents, and families and the provision of well led peer support programs for members of the IA/ARM community. Max's Trust also seeks to raise funds for the provision of care boxes for babies born with IA/ARM and to hold an annual educational conference bringing families and adults together with medical professionals to provide support and information.
