SPT - cutting of continued deep slots along the wellbore, ecologically safe, environmentally friendly technology.
SPT tool (patent US8863823) capable making longitudinal continuous slots up-to 5 ft. deep and 25 ft² per linear foot, through the casing, cement ring into the productive formation, along the wellbore with abrasive waterjets, directly at the cutting level inside the wellbore, without any moving tubing/coiled-tubing from the surface.
Due drilling a well, is formed circular tangential stress conditions, which reduces the permeability and positive reservoir properties. It was proved in the laboratory, and later mathematically, that when creating deep longitudinal slots along the wellbore, the circular stress conditions are redistributed from wellbore to the ends of these slots (as slots in the coal industry).
All other waterjets methods create motionless spot perforation only (not a slots), with abrasive or, generally without abrasive. Spot perforation does not give depth more than 1 foot, and only fills up the cavern behind the casing. It is happened, because due point waterjets the reverse jet from the rocks always will interferes with direct waterjets, accordingly, will never give a depth.
When waterjets nozzles are given a slow smooth constant downward movement, the forward and reverse waterjets do not interfere with each other, the spent abrasive and rock’s sludge are washed out to the surface by a continuous circulating working flow and slots becomes deeper and deeper.
