"Mayer" is a Swabian company, incorporated in Germany, manufacturing in Europe and with a global presence. The “Mayer Group” is the umbrella brand name for this globally active company. It is currently the leading supplier in its market sectors and dedicated, above all, to construction and the effective upgrading of sustainable structures. The company itself is focused on five core areas, which are clearly structured through cooperation between the headquarters in Heidenheim and the individual Europe-wide “subsidiaries”: Thus the “Mayer” brand represents the leading supplier of premium horticultural machines, nationwide services in steel and instrument production, sheet metal processing with laser technology from Germany and developments for hardware and software solutions in the areas of control and handling engineering. The cornerstone for the current company structure was established by Paulus Mayer in 1850 when he set up as a blacksmith and carriage farrier. Since the founding of the company, now in its 5th generation, the management have shown ever-greater competence, in terms of tackling economic, technological and social challenges and obtaining a deeper trust of customers and the wider community.
