Mays MBA Association (MBAA)

The MBA Association (MBAA) supports academic engagement and professional development throughout the year to foster continuous growth. This group also sponsors networking events, including trivia contests, happy hours, bowling and salsa dancing, as well as a number of major events: MBA Follies – This annual event, which raises money for Camp LIFE, a local philanthropic organization, brings students together with faculty members. The highlight is an auction of faculty-donated experiences, such as dinners, wine tastings, or specific challenges. Brisket Bowl – You’ll have the opportunity to spend time with classmates and meet former students from Mays’ MBA programs during the Brisket Bowl. This networking event is family-friendly and features a live band and bar and brisket cook-off competition. Tailgate Parties – You can celebrate the Aggie Spirit with your classmates and former students during MBAA tailgates during Texas A&M’s home football games. The Big Event – You can volunteer with a team of MBAA members to participate in Texas A&M’s Big Event. The Big Event, which is held each spring, is the largest student-run service project in the nation.
