The roots of the partnership that has become MB Energy, LLC first began, unofficially, in 2010 when J.B. Musselman, Jr. and Ryan Broglie discovered their complementary skill sets while executing projects together. Broglie focused on drilling and completions/frac and Musselman on workover and facility/pipeline. Out of mutual respect and cooperation, there soon became a desire to one day combine these qualities for a greater purpose.
Originally, the assumption was that a new engineering/technical organization would be formed; however, the opportunity finally presented itself in 2021 to form an operating company to serve promoters/investors who had a backlog of wells to drill and produce.
Musselman has had a lifelong involvement with a family operating company, and Broglie had previously partnered and managed a contract operating company for 10 years. This, combined with their engineering and operations management experience, field-based knowledge, and solid service company ties formed a unique, technically-focused operating company.
MB Energy, LLC is fully insured and licensed as an oil and gas operator in the State of Texas and drills, completes, hydraulically fracs, and produces wells primarily in South Texas.
