MBF Aluminium is one of the leading European specialists in high pressure die-casting, machining and assem bling of aluminium part in large series for automotive industry up to 10 kg.
It supplies most of the machined and assembled components of the powertrain.
Created as general mechanics workshop in Saint Claude (Jura) in 1941, the Plan d’Acier plant becomes an aluminium de-casting foundry in 1948.
The company today occupies a building area of 31.600 sqm and employs 284 people in its two plants of Plan d’Acier and Etables.
It counts about 40 High Pressure Die Casting Machines and on 46 CNC machining centers. It produces an average of 4 million pieces a year.
With its development team of engineers and technicians, MBF Aluminum ensures the development of parts, from the customer’s specifications to the finished product. Its R&D department takes care from the pre-project, the quality analysis, the filling simulation, the cad design, up to the industrialization and the whole production.
