MBR Enviro Systems specializes in wastewater treatment projects, including the construction of new wastewater treatment facilities and the upgrading of existing ones. The company specializes, among other things, in biological treatment based on membrane technology, up to the level of tertiary treatment, which turns wastewater into clean water suitable for unlimited drinking water according to the strictest standards, allowing for deep-sea disposal. The facilities are designed to be small, compact, easy to operate and energy efficient. Among other things, the company has built many wastewater treatment facilities using the flat membrane technology of the giant Japanese corporation KUBOTA. As part of this, the company has built many wastewater treatment facilities in Israel, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Russia, some of which are among the largest in the world. One of the company’s flagship projects is the wastewater treatment facility built by MBR for Makhteshim Agan – which treats very difficult wastewater from 28 factories and is considered the largest of its kind in the world. MBR has also built facilities for treating wastewater discharged into tourist beaches in Greece and Cyprus – a treatment that allows the beach to be declared a blue flag beach with the highest level of cleanliness.
