Mcadam Architects

We focus on creating long-term value through high-quality, well-worked design solutions, and aim to deliver thoughtful architecture which pushes the boundaries of design and planning. McAdam Architects was established by Tanya Kalinina and James McAdam in 2002. The practice has completed an extensive, diverse range of projects - from private dwellings to masterplans for new towns in the UK, Europe, and beyond. Recent works have concentrated on the remodelling and conversion of existing buildings. This has involved adaptive reuse, careful renovation, and the development of brownfield sites. Considerations for surrounding environments and the use of existing resources are at the forefront of this work. We are involved in research, education, and other activities relating to the development of the architectural profession.
