We are a family owned transport company, that is 100% wood cartage in New Zealand. We drive in the bush, we see parts of New Zealand that not many others get to see, and we love what we do. We have over 200 exceptional people, close to 120 Truck and Trailer units that are based across the Central and Southern North Island, three hubs (Wanganui, Karioi and Mastertion with a satellite in Napier), each with their own workshop for services and repairs, and one outstanding engineering department that build the best trailers in the country, and not just for McCarthy's. Advocating for our industry, not only transport but forestry as well is massively important to us. We have a cadetship program based in the beautiful Ruapehu, just under the mountain where we train class 4 licence holders up to a class 5 licence and giving valuable experience driving off road through New Zealand's beautiful forestry.
