Multi Cultural Club (MCC) Tasmania is founded by students of UTAS in 2020.
We enjoy multicultural dance, music, languages, food, unity, and diversity!
Our Vision: All students at the University of Tasmania, irrespective of background or culture, feel a sense of belonging in Tasmania.
Our Mission:
* Providing opportunities for international and local students to meet each other, creating a sense of community and belonging.
* Running employability workshops for international students who often struggle to find their first job in Australia.
* Organising physical and creative activities (i.e. dance, sport) to provide an opportunity for students, who are prone to isolation, to keep fit, make friends and having fun!
* Celebrating the festivals of international students to help them feel at home, whilst educating the broader community about the customs of the international student community.
