Mechanical Engineering Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (MCE) at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) was founded in 1997 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. MCE offers two programs: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME). Both programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education. Additionally, the BSME program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Mechanical engineers shape our future. They are instrumental in finding innovative solutions that progress technology and expand humankind’s horizons.
