McGill Tree Farm was established in 2022, after purchasing the farm from it's previous owners, Sky Meadows. The previous growers were well known for growing quality tree material. Their most notable contribution to the industry being the Live Oaks that line the Texas Capital landscape, and the Live Oaks at the entrance to the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library.
