MCICTS | Mahanama College ICT Society

With the rapid globalization of the world, Information & Communication Technology became one of the main components of the modern era. With the clear-cut importance and the emergence of a community to guide the students of Mahanama College to the international standards of ICT, the ICT Society of Mahanama College was founded on 29th of September 2012 as MCICTS, marking a new chapter in the history books of Mahanama College. Since then, MCICTS has evolved & developed as a mainstream society of the College and has done vast activities to make Mahanamians standout characters in the ICT field, to make Mother Mahanama proud, and to make the whole nation move forward and stand out in the global ICT arena. MCICTS also became one of the leading ICT Societies in the Sri Lankan school ICT Industry in a short time by hosting various kinds of events and projects that paved the successive path for the organization. Also being successive in inter-school, zonal, and national level competitions gained confidence in the organization's ultimate goals. We have travelled a long way, through hard work, dedication and limitless passion, being a renowned organization and proving who we are to the outer world. So, we’re humbled to say that, elder brothers to younger brothers, passing the legacy of MCICTS and carrying the responsibility, we move forward, united as one, shoulder to shoulder, to an infinite future.
