About the Macklin Business Institute The Macklin Business Institute (MBI) at Montgomery College is a distinctive honors program that provides a wide range of innovative, high-quality business education opportunities. Our Stories Aims to assist many Montgomery County high schools’ ESOL students with literacy skills by assisting the students in writing stories about their home countries and adapting to America. Project Birdhouse Aims to teach children about creating an entrepreneurial impact as they learn business foundations and profit margins while they tackle the decline in biodiversity and bird population through the building of birdhouses.
