he McMonigle Financial Group is now investing in first position trust deeds via its wholesale lending company, McMonigle Finance. Lending on individual trust deeds has traditionally been a highly fractionalized and very subjective business that was utilized by a select number of high net worth individuals. This presented mortgage brokers with a difficult task of finding these random individuals. McMonigle Finance is looking to remove these industry obstacles by being the dominant source of funding for these loans, and reducing the subjectivity by adhering to a strict set of underwriting guidelines that are based on common sense. The company will be placing a portion of these loans in their portfolio and selling a portion to qualified third parties.
