Since its creation in 1982, MCR has been specialising in the formulation, production and distribution of composite materials such as SMC, BMC and AMC.
MCR's thermosetting compounds comply with the most stringent requirements of the industry.
MCR is recognised as the European leader of the Automotive industry by suppliers of raw materials, moulders, OEMs and manufacturers.
This recognition goes further than the Automotive market, with the supplying of other markets and with applications in the railway, electricity and construction areas.
MCR's composites manufacturing is based on polyester and vinylester technologies. Formulations are engineered by the R&D team at the headquarters in the south of Lyon, France.
Materials destined for the European market are produced in our French plant of Tournon sur Rhone.
For the American and Asian markets, the formulation and production know-how is transferred to our subsidiaries in Mexico and China for local manufacturing.
