About MCR-SGA
Montgomery County Regional Student Government Association (MCR-SGA) was founded in 1958 as an organization to represent and advocate for high school student bodies across Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) in Maryland. For over 60 years now, our mission is still to advocate for equitable educational policies for high school students throughout MCPS and the state. We set national precedents for effective student advocacy through our grassroots, statewide, and national work. We proudly represent 25 public high schools comprising of over 57k students. And with over 180 active members, we boast being the largest student advocacy organization in Maryland and one of the largest on the east coast.
