MCRISSAR- FOUNDATION

The Mcrissar Foundation is a non-profit, nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization established in 2020 and officially registered under the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission with registration number 192580 in 2022. Our organization is dedicated to five fundamental pillars that shape our mission: 1. Leadership Development among Young Women/Girls 2. Healthcare/Menstrual Hygiene 3. Women Empowerment 4. Education 5. Creation of safe spaces for survivors of GBV and Legal Aid for Women. With a primary focus on the welfare and advancement of the girl child, we advocate for equal socio-economic, cultural, and political opportunities for women. Our overarching goal is to establish gender equality within communities without imposing changes on existing cultural or religious beliefs. We aim to remove barriers obstructing the rights of women and girls. To achieve our objectives, we raise awareness and actively engage adolescent girls before they reach the age of 18. Our programs include boot camps, workshops, guidance and counseling, and professional development trainings, all designed to create positive and lasting change in the lives of women and girls.
