“MDC” may not be a household name in the U.S trailer market just yet, but in Australia the brand has an enviable reputation for designing some of the most capable and well appointed overlanding pop-up campers and travel trailers.
Founded in Australia in 2005 by Vaughan Hindley, the company started off building small tent trailers. Fast forward nearly 20 years and over 40,000 units later, MDC in Australia now has a range of over 30 models of full sized and off-grid overlanding travel trailers up to 25ft in overall length.
With a growing popularity for overlanding in the United States, MDC saw an opportunity to bring their award-winning travel trailers and pop-up campers to a new market.
Headquartered out of Cypress, California, MDCUSA launched in 2021 and over the last few years has expanded to have dealers right across the United States.
