Our Mission: At the Hungarian Student Association, we are dedicated to empowering and supporting Hungarian students in Austria. Our mission encompasses informing, advocating, building community, and engaging in social activities that enrich the student experience. About Us: MDE-VUS (Verein Ungarischer Studierender) is a dynamic, volunteer-driven student organization committed to fostering a vibrant community for Hungarian students studying in Austria. We understand the challenges of studying abroad, and we strive to provide a supportive environment for all interested individuals. We organize an informational weekend specifically designed for high school students in Hungary, helping them transition into their academic journeys in Austria. Additionally, we maintain a robust online presence through our website and various Facebook groups dedicated to each university. These platforms facilitate peer support, allowing Hungarian students to connect, share experiences, and assist one another. We are also committed to being responsive and accessible, answering emails and messages promptly to provide the necessary information and guidance. In addition, we actively organize a diverse range of community programs and events designed to promote cultural exchange, networking, and personal development. Our belief in the importance of community drives us to create opportunities for connection among students. We aim to nurture a sense of belonging and pride in our Hungarian heritage while facilitating meaningful interactions that enhance the student experience in Vienna.
