MDWi AG

MDWi AG is a private, state-recognized Studienkolleg (preparatory course) located in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt. Since the industrial revolution, Magdeburg has established itself as an important technical hub. As a historical center of heavy machinery manufacturing, there was an early effort to connect production to science, which led to the formation of the Otto-von-Guericke-University in 1993. Founded in 2008 as a spin-off of the Otto-von-Guericke-University (OvGU), MDWi AG aims to attract more foreign students to study in Magdeburg. We work closely with OvGU, and many of our graduates have already enrolled in technical degree programs. Our Studienkolleg is state-recognized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science and Digitalisation in Saxony-Anhalt. We offer T-, W-, and M- courses at our college. One special feature is that for all non-numerus clausus degree programs at OvGU, admission to the university is guaranteed, provided the selected degree program is offered at this university, upon successful completion of the Studienkolleg training in the T, W, and M focus courses. (For M course participants, the admission guarantee applies only to the Biosystem Engineering degree program!) The certificate obtained from the Studienkolleg allows for nationwide access to universities and technical colleges in Germany
