ME Partners is a private limited Company which identifies opportunities to provide property developers with further funding for residential and commercial real estate developments, such as Mezzanine Equity. ME Partners Limited has identified an opportunity to provide an asset-backed funding product to property developers in the UK which ranks after the senior development funding (“Mezzanine Finance”). Property developers have been using both Mezzanine Finance and equity funding to finance property projects since the early 1980’s. This was introduced into the United Kingdom by American Banks active in financing Management Buy outs. The use of Mezzanine Finance reduces the amount of financial contribution required from a property developer in order to make up the difference between the senior debt lending offered by a bank and the gross development cost of building the project. By cooperating with the banks and other specialised property lenders providing the senior debt to these developers, ME Partners identifies a steady demand for its Mezzanine Funding product from developers whose schemes meet the senior funding lenders’ stringent due diligence requirements for that senior funding. ME Partners therefore efficiently deploys funding raised on to a diversified range of developments within its Mezzanine Funding product secured on property and other assets. The management team believe with their extensive skills and experience (over 20 years) in funding property development, and delivering completed property developments themselves, means that the Company will be well placed to consider and take advantage of potential opportunities, and aims to create a portfolio of positions using its Mezzanine Funding product.
