Mecom is an international boutique consultancy group based out of Bahrain. The company was founded in 2006 by Niklas Nielsen and Joakim Fagerbakk. Joakim and Niklas were the key people behind the successful launch and operation of one of the very first MVNOs in Middle East, Renna Mobile in Oman. This led to the creation of Mecom Mobile which became recognized in the Middle East as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) specialist consultancy company. In parallel with the expansion of its MVNO activities throughout Middle East and surrounding regions, Mecom’s activities have grown in to other areas including: - Digital Services - Telecom - Smart Energy Solutions Within these industries Mecom provide: - Consultancy, ranging from advisory to complex project management - Sourcing of technology & human resources - Structuring of Joint Ventures & Partnerships - Investment management Furthermore, Mecom have taken active ownership in a number of leading companies across these industries, providing it with a unique position to create synergies between its clients and operations.
