Ram holds patents and inventions in Ultrasound probes, X-ray tubes, and Surgical Pain Management.

He has collaborated with hospital systems such as MD Anderson & Kaiser in developing enhancements to Medical imaging and in applying data analytics and artificial intelligence in healthcare.
