Medalist, LLC was formed in early 2016 and is proud to be the renaissance of an earlier Oshkosh WI company, Medalist LaserFab, Inc. Our leadership team has a combined experience of over 100 years of metal forming, fabricating and welding expertise. Most importantly, our culture is the pursuit of perfection. In December 2009 Medalist LaserFab was acquired by a large national Ohio metal fabrication company. In early 2016 the Ohio fabricator made the decision to consolidate their Oshkosh operations into one of their existing facilities. As a result, this created an equity opportunity for a group of proud former key individuals of Medalist LaserFab to establish a new company, Medalist, LLC. In August 2016, Medalist, LLC completed the purchase of the Oshkosh assets of the Ohio Company and in October of 2016 took possession of the original building Medalist LaserFab began in 1997 at 2840 Bradley, Oshkosh WI. Today, Medalist, LLC is positioned as a premier precision welding and metal fabricating company specializing in light plate and armor materials. Like all fabricators we have the latest fabricating equipment. However, our goal is to differentiate ourselves through our expertise in complex precision weldments utilizing the latest advances, technology and training resulting in greater productivity, repeatability and above all, superior quality. In fact, quality is our greatest focus as well as our greatest investment. Quality is imbedded into every stage of the production process beginning with our commitment to APQP through the complete verification of GD&T.
