MedCo is the system used to facilitate the sourcing of medical report providers in claims brought under the Ministry of Justice RTA Small Claims Pre-Action Protocol or the Pre-Action Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury Claims in Road Traffic Accidents.
Launched on the 6th April 2015, Medical Experts, MROs and Commissioners of Medical Reports must register via the MedCo website in order to be able to receive or commission medico-legal reports from this date.
MedCo Registration Solutions is a non-profit making organisation with a Board comprised of representatives with cross industry interests and an independent Chair. MedCo is the operational delivery arm and is not responsible for the creation of, or any amendments to, the MoJ Protocol.
