Mediametka ry

Mediametka is the oldest and leading practical and pedagogical media and film education organization in Finland. Mediametka’s mandate is to provide workshops, further training, learning materials, media, film and multiliteracy training and education for teachers, librarians and other professionals working with children and youth. Mediametka also collaborates in several international projects as a partner and consultant. Mediametka as a non-profit organization was founded in 1958 for Film and TV education and is annually supported by the Ministry of Culture and Education in Finland. Metka reaches annually over 15 000 participants of all ages with its national and international projects, training programs and digital materials.
