As a result of its efficient production plants, stylish commercials, and innovative marketing techniques, such as in-store promotions at Harrods' only foreign branch in Buenos Aires, "Medias Paris" became an iconic fashion brand since Evita Peron's era in the 1940s, until the early 1980s. As the Mehl family diversified into other businesses, the company’s assets and operations were gradually disposed by the late 1980s.
