About Medical Device Development Centre (MDDC)

The MDDC is a not-for-profit British Columbia society whose mandate is to advance the collaborative development, evaluation and commercialization of need-oriented medical technology. To promote its mandate the MDDC operates a 13,000 sq. ft. multitenant facility near Vancouver General Hospital, BC’s largest hospital. Its collaborators include private sector companies, the Vancouver General Hospital, other hospitals and health care institutions, and universities and advanced educational institutes.
