Medical Marvels is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting medical literacy among high school and college students interested in medicine and healthcare. With the lack of in-person opportunities for students and the spread of misinformation during the pandemic, here at Medical Marvels, we strive to educate others and create positive change among our youth from local to international levels.
Opportunities at Medical Marvels:
+ Conduct weekly virtual shadowing sessions from Neurosurgery to Anesthesiology to Dermatology
+ Provide free and accessible educational resources on our website/blog
+ Host research discussions for members and community service
Currently, our Executive Team features students from Brown University, UC Irvine, Boston University, Case Western Reserve University, UTSA, etc. with chapters in Irvine CA USA, Los Angeles CA USA, Chicago IL USA, Chantilly VA USA, York Canada. Overall, we strive to advocate for health equity, educate youth about public health issues, and help foster the next generation of medical professionals regardless of their socioeconomic status or background.
