System and Predictive Models in life sciences.
The applications of medical images (structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging–sMRI/fMRI, EEG, PET, mammography, Computed tomography‐CT, ect.) has undergone since the last decades an unstopped development.
Large datasets containing thousands of medical images are currently available to supply clinical diagnosis.
In order to facilitate the processing of large amounts of data and allow more efficient analysis of the datasets, the Research Unit provides some scientific and techinological solutions to address relevant issues arising from the multidimensional analysis of biomedical datasets.
