It also caters to non-medics building in the medical domain. Our focus is on tech training, collaboration, information-sharing, and community initiatives. Our Mission: Our mission is to equip healthcare professionals and non-medics building in the health domain across Africa and beyond with the skills they need to thrive in the future of digital health. Medics In Tech aims to turn healthcare professionals and undergraduates into digital health literates, adopters, advocates, and innovators by providing cutting-edge digital health education, collaborative initiatives, and support. We also leverage the media to support digital health innovations and innovators. Our Initiatives: Medics In Tech Digital Health Academy: The Medics In Tech Digital Health Academy is developing a global on-demand, self-paced learning platform to address the growing demand for digital health skills focusing on convenience and personalized career coaching. Our platform aims to break down barriers to upskilling in the digital health sector, enabling individuals to drive innovation and improve patient care without the constraints of rigid learning formats. Through the DHA online learning portal, we aim to train more than 3,000 healthcare professionals in foundational digital health literacy in our first year. Digital Health Media Initiative: This initiative seeks to leverage media and publications to support digital health innovations and innovators, including digital health startups. Adopt a Medic Initiative: This initiative creates a platform for fostering collaboration between healthcare practitioners and tech experts. It helps digital health companies discover healthcare professionals with the skill sets and willingness to collaborate on their projects.
