Medilab Diagnostic Centre

In 2002 OCT, Medilab started operations at Mumbai Central near Nair hospital under the guidance of Dr Anjum A Shariff. In May 2003, Medilab started a new branch at Byculla near J J Hospital, then it was followed by a fully automated laboratory at Malad. This lead to the development of a chain of centres in Mumbai. We have achieved expertise in emergency testing services with optimal quality. For the past 10 years, Medilab has been operating 24 hrs and 365 days providing emergency testing services to Major Government hospitals like B Y L Nair Hospital, J J group of hospitals and in numerous nursing homes and doctors. In the outbreak of the Swine flu, we took an active part by proving services to swine patients admitted to Disease control Kasturba hospital. We have provided pathology services for clinical trials to various Pharmaceutical companies in India namely Cipla, Lupin, Ranbaxy Centre for excellence, Covance, Manessh Pharma, USV LTD, Swizera health care, Millenium Herbal care, Nicholas Piramal, Franco Indian and CROs such as Clingene, Integrity Health Services and many more. In 2009 we entered the hospital market by acquiring lab operations in Platinum hospitals in Mulund is a 100-bed multispecialty hospital after which many other hospital laboratories were acquired. In 2012 we have tied up with Zenith Hospital which is a 125 bed super speciality hospital for providing pathology services. In 2012 Medilab starts operation with Referral alb in the city of Chandigarh in association with Diagnose. In 2013 Medilab enters a strategic alliance with Nirogypro lab in Delhi. Medilab has gained international recognition in the field of clinical trials, one of which is a comparative study between TBPCR, TB Rapid Kit, Sputum Ab and backed culture. At present Medilab has a network of 22 collection centres five processing labs in Mumbai. In Maharashtra, we have about 48 collection centres, pan India Medilab presence in more than 100 cities and towns.
